• he’s lived in his house his whole life but he met you when he was seven and you just moved in next door from the other side of the country.
  
• he was a very bubbly kid that approached you first and he helped you adjust to the life on the west coast.
• he would always play with you whenever he saw you outside on your yard. like he would wait by the window until he sees you go out and then he would go out and play with you.
• you were at each other’s house so much, you both could maneuver around the house with your eyes closed.
• one time jisoo tried doing that, but you pulled out a stool in front of him and he ended up with a bruised shin.

• every saturday morning, he comes over to your house just so you can watch the morning cartoons on cartoon network. his mom comes over too to chat with your parents and even help make breakfast so you two would eat.
• around ten y/o, he got really into mangas and animes and all you saw him do when he was home was read mangas and watch animes.
• every weekend he comes from the library with backpack filled with mangas.

• the anime phase continued on until high school but he dressed better and got into music.

• sometimes you would feel bad about yourself because you saw him chasing after his dream and you felt stagnant in this process of life and all he said was “you’ll find your dream on your own time,” and he continued playing with his DS.
• speaking of, you guys would always play video games together.
• plenty of mario kart and yelling profanity at one another.
• more like jisoo going “eat my dust!!! you looooser!” because he’s so gentlemanly and chivalrous that he can’t scream out profanity.
• at one point the students in your school suspected you guys were dating and he got super shy about it to the point he couldn’t even make eye contact with you. that made you guys really distant for some time.
• until it was his birthday and almost his time to leave for korea. you asked him you didn’t want to end the year or start a new year with you two being distant because he was your best friend and you can’t bear not talking to him.
• he was like “omg i felt the exact same but i didn’t know how to approach you.” then after that he pulled out his computer and was like “can we watch attack on titans? i’ve been saving a bunch of episodes until the day i can finally watch it with you.”
• at the airport, right when he was about to leave, he gives you a charm bracelet with guitar and “J” charms on it. and he held out his own wrist and showed a similar bracelet but with your first initial on it. he said that “this is a promise to always be each other’s best friend no matter what happens. we will always support each other in what he decide to do!”
